Brothers Darque present VaudeVile: Theatre du Grotesque
is a Halloween vaudeville-style revue with acts ranging
from a mentalist, a magician, freak acts, dark comedy
sketches, a fan dancer and musical interludes, all dripping
with the macabre. Think Baz Luhrman meets Tim
Burton.
Popular local band 50 Cent Haircut lead by Jay Souza,
will provide 20's-style joint band music for the accompaniment,
complete with megaphone singing and a banjo. Not for
the faint of heart, VaudeVile is perfect for fans of
the current Burlesque and Roots music trends or someone
just looking for something fun and different to do around
Halloween.
The Brothers Darque (Kirk Diedrich and Jesse Mackey)
have assembled a stellar cast for VaudeVile : Theatre
du Grotesque featuring members of the ACME’s Acme
and Bravo Companies as well as members of the renowned
Liquid Radio Players.
